Biographies

George D. Williams, Special Master/Court Appointed Monitor, United States District Court for the Northern District of California, Oakland, California

George Williams has more than 30 years experience in fair housing/civil rights program management, administration and enforcement. For more than 20 years he served as a manager in the federal government, including executive management with HUD as the Regional Director of the Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity, Pacific/Hawaii Region. He recently served as the Special Master/Court Appointed Monitor as a subject matter expert in fair housing and civil rights to oversee, monitor, and provide advice and consultation to the parties and to report to the U.S. District Court on progress and problems related to the implementation of a federal Court Ordered Consent Decree. The Consent Decree and Order settled a major federal Fair Housing Act lawsuit against the San Francisco Housing Authority. George has his own consulting business, Diversity Dynamics.
